Looking for a new brain

I'm going to try replacing the CDI box in my bike, because I suspect it is just having trouble picking up the signals from the sender units. Mine's an 86 700F, so I'm looking for the box with 4 wires-connectors (one 6 pin, one 4 pin, one 2 pin, one bullet (tach)); although, if anyone near Boston would be willing to loan me their brain to see if that's really the issue, that might be better (it would have to be before the 26th, though, since I'm leaving again.)

...my wetware is ok though, if you're wondering. And no, I won't use a hacksaw to remove your brain :wink:

... however, JamieDaugherty is making me doubt that it's the CDI box, so maybe I don't want one. I'll poke the carbs again and see ... now I'm pretty sure it's not the CDI.

 

if you want, 10 bucks and shipping, I have one... if you want it. I have almost the entire electrical from my VFR.... Won't be needing it anymore.
