Yeah, that is why I am waiting. Tyga already made a nice alum subframe and the shotgun for the exhaust. I kinda don't like the "buy it" tribute, but it will make life a lot easier. I have been in discussions with Paul at Tyga and he is excited for measurements and fitment with my version. Just need 2k to make it happen. hahaha

General question. Are the 86/87 700's in rwb the same graphics, just minus the "750"?

Looks like the second go around today on the painting was much better than the first.

Gotta say.....now that I have dipped my toe into the painting pool.....I am feeling quite empowered!

At the same time I am pumping the brakes knowing I am at the very start of the learning curve.

But really excited at the potential with rehabilitation of the panels, fairings, and cowls I have. Even if I just give some a coat of primer, they will be much more presentable.

Here's a couple of battery covers for example just begging for help:

    Labor of love, my brother!

I painted that tail cowl this morning with Gray primer.

Also, working on some replacement rubber fuel tank 'cushions' made of some stock rubber pads I bought and will share pics later. The ones circled here in blue:
