When Blues Traveler hit their popularity peak, around 90-95, they were all over the radio and tv. Mass media oversaturated them to the point that they faded pretty fast after just a few years. IIRC, their bass player O.D.'d which probably contributed to the popularity slide as well.

Makes sense - thanks! I'm 72 so went through several decades of great music and still enjoy hearing the majority of it.

Is that Jimmy Page in your avatar? If so...awesome!!! LZ music finds it's way onto many of my playlists and when one of their songs comes on I'm still amazed at how incredible and timeless it is....and how it makes me so happy.

Little side story...when my Mom passed away a couple years ago I found comfort in heart's rendition of "Stairway to Heaven" at the Kennedy Center....

Yes. If I had to pick a single all time band, it would be Zeppelin. They ranged from folk to hard rock with everything in between. People knock Page for being sloppy, and boy was he ever playing live during his heroin abuse years, but he could be precise when he was in his right mind. A good set of headphones on an acoustic number shows it. He wouldn't have made a living as a session musician before the Yardbirds if he was sloppy in the studio.
