So far no leaking - except some from the bottom of my fuel bottle. Probably where the line is connected. I disconnected it and dumped the fuel back in my gas can. The carb set will stay in it's tub overnight and I will check for any seepage in the morning.

Looks like a go for installation tomorrow! :)

No leakage detected on the carbs after sitting overnight so got them re-installed and a new battery this morning. All ready to go but I left the keys at my storage unit so will have to wait until a break from college football to retrieve for a test start.

Confirmed. It's an 86 VFR. They pretty much always start in situations like this.

    God that is so satisfying.

Get the air box together and double check your other fluids. I can almost guarantee that smoke will clear up once you are able to heat cycle it up to the fan coming on.

    Good job.

A stable idle is a good sign.
