I think Market Place is taking a lot of business away from Craig's List. Its too bad. You could brows CL for things without the fear of getting a whole pile of adds on things similar to what you were looking at over on CL. I sold a few motorcycle things there. And I have more gear to be sold now that I have traded in my Africa Twin. I just need to get at it and list the stuff. It is too bad that you now have to pay for the add but I guess, nothing is really free these days. But I am willing to pay a small fee to advertise with CL to sell something. If their cost is too high, well then I advertise the item for sale elsewhere.

And so it goes with free enterprise.

In my area the last few years, I couldn't find any used motorcycle related stuff without wading through a thousand dealership ads, mostly from HD dealerships even if I typed in VFR800. It was the same in most categories. 99% business ads and 1% avg Joe ads so CL pretty much became useless in my area. FB Marketplace is ok, but their algorithms only show you what they think you want to buy so you get a lot of stuff mixed in you aren't looking for while sometimes missing stuff you are looking for.
