Hello Englishman in Bulgaria here.

Guess am a bit late with this post as have made others on the site anyway I do not have a VFR but am interested in the idea of having one at the moment. I say that because I have not even seen one in real life as yet that I know of never mind touching or sitting on one and until that happens cannot be sure if a VFR suits me or not.

Last Saturday rode my Triumph 450km to go and look at a 6th Gen VFR only to be told when I got there that it was gone, sold, yet still listed on the sales site was rather peeved to say the least. So the last week has been spent browsing the listing sites here and sending enquiries via the email systems on those sites calling by phone. Phone is awkward as I do not speak Bulgarian and finding someone at the dealers who can speak some English and who is willing to speak in English is proving more problematic than one would think. The e-mails were in Bulgarian used Google Translate for that yet not had a single response. Do these people want to sell or not? Have tried sending SMS (text) same result not a single response.

As many listed for sale are over 3 hours travel time away have located an area that has four dealers and importers of used bikes that have seven VFR's listed between them am thinking of driving down and spending a couple of days visiting the dealers and see whet the bikes are like and what sort of deal can get.
