VFR Discussion

A big thank you to Miguel for all the effort and work over the years creating and making that site work - I for one miss its unique flavour which was just different from the Facebook group or even this excellent VFR World site

Some have joined already. It's early days and at the moment the site is fairly bare, but hoping it can rebuild the VFRD community. Why not have a look

 

Perhaps this is a pedantic viewpoint I have, but why does a new VFR forum have to be called "VFR Discussion"? It's not VFRD, that's gone. This is a new forum from scratch, which I have nothing against. Why not "VFR Owners" "Honda V4 Enthusiasts" "Interceptors International" whatever.

 

Why is there a need for multiple vfr forums. Why can't we all just use vfrw?

 

If VFRDdiscussion had been the only forum what would be left ? I too consider VFRWorld to be what the name implies but I support the principle of a plan B.

 

I think it's because VFRD had a repository of downloads available, which VFRW doesn't have at the moment.......

 

I feel a bit torn between the People's Front of Judea and the Judean People's Front (RIP the Judean Popular People's Front)...

Let's just see how it goes!

I don't mean to be critical, but...ads? Did you ever visit VFRD?

 

I lost thousands of posts on VFRD. Luckily, since I post similar things on multtiple forums, wiring-diagrams, no-start troubleshooting, etc, I didn't want to upload same photo 10x over and over again. So hosted them on GoogleDrive and hot-linked them in my posts. So I still have most of my stuff to repost here as needed.

 

or...from the same film, "I'm not dead yet!" Seems appropriate.
