1984 VF1000R

So i went to Iconic Motorbikes today to take a close look at the RC30 closing on Saturday. I can say it's extreamly clean. You can eat off that bike. We will see...

While I was there I saw a European VF1000R that is going up on auction soon. It is complete and looked solid.
It needs a real good cleaning and we will see what the inspection reveals. No, I am not going to buy it.

 

God, I fucking love the shape of that tank.

The mesh side panels are incorrect for the bike.

 

I do think that with a DEEP clean this bike will be awesome!
The dual headlights are beast … mufflers grew on me

Yes Sir … it’s very very clean but may be out of my price range. We will see.

I had one before and owning one is complicated but I miss my 30 a lot. I do have plenty of time now to maintain it and super clean it every time I ride it … and I plan on riding it plenty!

Let’s see how it goes … this was my RC30 when I sold it …
