I'm continuing through the recommissioning of my 86 VFR 700 and I'm now arriving at replacing the original chain and sprockets. I was looking to follow Joe's(VFR Dreams) chain/sprocket advice on his maintenance blog but I can't locate at 45 tooth rear sprocket. JT makes a 44 or a 46 tooth for the VFR, but no 45 tooth. I'm not against dropping to a 44, just want to hear from some who have run different than the stock 45 tooth rear and how it affected the ride.

Why are those "better" links? When I click them, they come up with a black, blank screen.

    What the hell is "rover"?

And a 43 on your 17" CBR wheel with a low profile tire does not translate into super usable information for him.

FWIW.....eBay links won't work here, for some reason. What I do is copy and paste the item description and name of the seller. Then whomever wants to, can locate the item by doing a general eBay search.
