It is one of my favorite bikes to ride. You feel like a "GP Star" the whole time, dancing thru the gear box maximizing everything... And I'm doing 40. But it will do over 60, I have taken it on Interstate 5 more than a couple times. You get some really good looks hugging the fuel tank, left hand on a fork tube, helmet chin pretty much on the tank. Totally illegal.

I will often ride the 50 one day to work and then a VF1000R the next day.

Not a "Rothmans" edition, but cool AF.

    Rear cowl decal/paint failing?

Looks like clear failing. Dunno. This is the base model priced a bit high. Can't tell if there is just a shadow or an actual crack running down the tail plastic beneath the middle of the seat.... and still cool AF!

It is not. Head over to Iconic and look at all of the 400RRs that have already sold.

That's where I pulled my data for similar condition bikes.

Thanks for the feedback on that bike, Capt.

I spent a little time this morning sorting through my spare parts on my back deck. It's a covered deck and I have shelving and labeled bins for the parts and also learned how important it is to use baggies to bag everything to protect them from the humidity and corrosion.....so think I'm finally on the right track here. I took on a lot of inventory last year and it's still not completely sorted but at least I went through some of it today and moved the needle a bit.

The other day I was doing the same with just fairing and carb parts and saw these two washers (to the left) and just knew I had seen that oblong one before. Then while going through more, I found this little bag which was marked and I was able to connect the dots.

Gotta label this stuff - especially the fasteners!

huh really, all the research that I have done only show one registered here , mine?
...and Grame France the grey bike "guru" in the UK told me mine was the only one he knew of in North America!
I thought it was hard to believe, but possible.

I stand by my number. And why I said "ish". Not trying to be a downer.

Your bike is cool AF and I love it. But it is also attainable in the states.

And every time you post a picture I think, "GADDAM I want a CBR400RR."
