    Hi folks,

    Bike is SOLD!

You already know everything about 8th gen VFRs, so I will keep this brief. This one comes in the fastest color (red) and was purchased by original owner with every single option available for it that year:
    - center stand
    - heated grips
    - grip risers
    - color-matched panniers, keyed to the bike, with internal removable bags, carrying straps, etc.
    - quickshifter
    - 12V accessory socket, rear wheel hugger

I'm the third owner, having owned it for 5k miles of its 15k-mile life. The second owner had laid it down (see pictures of left fairing) and sold it to me that way; I replaced the left grip, left peg, and quickshifter with factory Honda items and put on the ASV levers, R&G bar ends, and R&G fork protectors. Rides like a champ, tires still have plenty of meat, up-to-date on all maintenance and comes with logs.

Comes with the pictured GIVI monokey mount in the back for a top case, includes the stock VFR parts which were removed to put it on, as well as the passenger seat (you can choose either the seat or the color-matched factory 1-up cowl, pictured). I'll also include some spare oil filters, coolant & oil drain gaskets, and misc. spare hardware.

Clean California title in my name, I'm in San Jose, CA, 95125. Email or PM Luke (email is lkosewsk _at gmail.com). I suppose delivery is extra and negotiable but if it's a haul, let's talk and figure it out. Bike is SOLD.

Not yet. I'm going to spend the winter fixing and selling bikes. The BMW R1100S Boxer Cup, Honda Monkey, Buell XB12X, CA-plated DR-Z400E, and an SV650S will all be going on the chopping block. Once I've cleaned the barn, I will ponder what to fill it with.

The DR-Z is an '02, with some parts from newer models to address known failures (the only one I remember off the top of my head is the automatic cam chain tensioner is from a later year, but I seem to recall wheel bearings and a few other niggly things...), and some mods.

I'm not sure it's ready for sale yet, in that before COVID it started developing intermittent e-start action (it has a kickstart lever, and that works just fine). I started pulling it apart for work and then I broke my wrist for the first time (yeah, I broke it more than once in the intervening years...). It's sat in the corner of the garage, all I did to it since then was drain the gas. If you want to make me a fair offer for that kind of condition, feel free to PM me. It might save me some time, so I'm not opposed, but if the discount is too much, I'll just fix it back up and get it running again before listing.

As usual for a bike I've owned for years and years, it'll come with a full box of parts, full maintenance log, yada yada.
