    I guess I'm a "Junior" (at 29 years old)

I got my first bike at 13 years old (in 1991)
I paid $600 (a whole summer's worth of mowing lawns) for my 1986 Honda Rebel 250

    in 1997 I bought my old man's Shadow 700
and picked up my 2004 Viffer in early 06' (after "borrowing" an 02' SV650S for about a year)

I know guys who have rode 20 years but only get out and ride 4-5 times a year

then I know guys that ride everyday / every chance they get.

for some.... its quality of the time on the bike NOT quanity of years....

for myself I started in 88-89 riding a buddys spare 87cain I rode it all the time.. then decided I needed to "grow up" before I bought my own

hehe, I just got a new toy a month or so ago. It is a scooter with a 35 cc 2stroke. It's like a dman chainsaw with 10" wheels. It's a blast. I had it up to 22 mph going down hill with a goofy ass grin on my face. I ride it all over town if I just need to go grab a paper or something... It looks sorta like this but mine has a seat that you have put on or off depending on mood...

Yea, i've done about 400k  about 500-600k plus ago

in 5 years commuting between Lancaster, CA. to LAX/SoCal (3 years 152 miles round trip 6 day's a week) & Phoenix, AZ. to LAX/SoCal (2 years 800 miles round trip 3 day's a week) not counting weekend rides & track day's & racing, I put 391,872 miles or more on 5 bikes.

I currently at a whim hop on a bike & ride down to So.Cal. & back on a weekend, which is about 1400 miles round trip:smile: .

Well, if you count the one time I rode my friend's Honda 50 in 1976 when I was 5 and fell in love with motorcycles even though I fell off the motorcycle...then I have been riding for 31 years. But, If you count the fact that I had not ridden since that day until this August...then I'm a newbie. I finally figured out that my mom wasn't the boss of me any more and I could do whatever I wanted. I am still convincing my wife of that though.

Kilometers or miles may be better...if you only ride 500km a year, or 15000 a year.

I am 33 and got my first bike at 12 ( it was a honda cs70 ) street legal dirtbike, more for the street thoagh, unlike an enduro. Looked like a mini cb with all terrain tied ( not knobbies ). I loved that bike and have ridden honda ever since. next was a 77 cb750 SS. Fast as hell as long as you were goin straight. Next I tried a kawi dirtbike that broke down on me the first time I rode it. Next a gl1200 goldwing ( I got my class m on that bike ) and now my first sport? bike. 85 rwb 700

Well, I just have my licence in 30 of july 2007 (2 days after my son was born) and rode for some times 50cc 2 stroke bikes (the bikes were not mine) but I gess that doesn't count...so i'm a brat...but since i bought my baby I've made more than 10 thousand K's.

I wanted to get my licence earlier but my parents said that was the last thing they would offer as they said to me that was like giving me coffin...and i think they were right, at age 18 i wasn't ready to have a motorbike, if i had one probably wouldn't be here telling this story...
So when the right moment came i went to the driving scholl in 2005 and made my inscription, but my stepfather was sick with cancer and i've delayed it, then in 2007 i had to take the licence otherwise i would loose the money i already had given (i dont know about there but here in Portugal you only have 2 years since the inscription) after getting my licence i was looking for a viffer and i found my baby with only 18000k's on the clock, and since i already had the money i bouth it without thinking twice ...and thats more or less my short ridding story...

I voted Senior because I've been riding dirt since I was 5, and dirt experience does translate to road bikes. Case in point. I took the MSF with no road experience, yet I scored the highest in my class. That was with some riders who had been on the road for 15+ years. I killed the cone obstacles, and was the only rider to stay within the box on the u-turn obstacle.

On the road for over 10.

3.5 years for me, not counting time spent on a dirtbike in a big backyard as a kid, and a year or more on a moped as a teen.
