Here's an original seat in fair condition, removed from a 1986 red/white/blue VFR 700/750 (not the darker blue as the pearl white bikes). One 1" cut in the fabric, see photos, which would be covered if the passenger cowl is in place. Seems to sit a little high at the rear, but that may settle down with use — this has been on the shelf for years. I've had a couple that sat high in the rear as well and not sure why. There must be a reason - just not a priority to investigate as much as other stuff.
