Investigating reasons for not starting after sitting and have rust in the gas tank?

that makes sense too, it just seemed close to a press-fit condition so I wondered how much gap there should be to allow fuel to flow in the Reserve path.
Regardless, an intact filter is coming and make sure the gunk is gone before I fill it up again.
