Speaking of oil......I was able to get the service invoice from the shop that did the work on that VF500 I just bought and they listed this oil as what they used for the oil change. Has mineral oil in it. I've never heard of it before but sounds like a quality oil.....

 

Speaking of FB...a while back someone in one of the 2nd Gen groups asked about ways to carry cargo on these bikes. I saved these images:

I recently bought a wheel off eBay. Was supposed to be an NOS front wheel for an '86 RC26. Looks like some wrote the wrong part # on the rim.

When it arrived, I noticed the axle opening was smaller and also saw the little 82N designation. After some Googling.....Seems to be the correct front wheel for a CBR-400F (NC17?).

I don't want to get into any discussion of who is to blame for the mix-up because it's 100% on me. A $60 mistake, so not too crazy.

That said.....it's a pretty nice wheel outside of some scratches on the paint.

Probably not practical to try and retrofit to one of my RC26's, so wonder if I should just relist it with the correct description(?)

I wonder what the market is for a wheel like this for that particular model?

Per my above post.....I only found one eBay listing for this wheel....located in Japan and listed for $152.94:

The explanation could be as simple as 86 VF500F front wheel. 17mm axle.

 

So this would fit my VF500f?

 

that might fit the Babyblade, if so I would take it off your hands?
