Hello VFR World. Thought I'd register so I could post. I'm just coming off a bad accident on my ST1300 that nearly ended it all for my wife and I. ATGATT saved our lives. The bike's totaled so I need to replace it by next riding season. Looks like it's gonna be solo riding for a while once I mend. I've been researching the VFR and I think it's the right bike for me. Everything says it's a great bike that can also put down the miles while being aggressive if need be. Many of my HSTA buddies ride VFR's and they all love'em. I rode a 02 last October on some great roads in SE Missouri and it was a blast. I’m sure I’ll have questions as I search for the right bike. I’d appreciate any thoughts or opinions. Thanks
Welcome Indy. Glad to hear you made it thru your accident ok and are able to join us. Can I ask what ATGATT and HSTA (I am assuming Honda ST association) stand for?
I have had an 07 RWB for two months now. It is my first bike since I started riding again after a 15 year layoff due to raising children etc. I did my own research and had my selection down to a BMW or the VFR. What sold me on the VFR was the fact it was a Honda and probably would be very trouble free plus the fact that it performs in all areas quite well. My friend has a BMW1200RT and is quite a capable rider. My VFR matches up nicely in the curves and on the freeway with him. One area I feel it excels is in the engine. It is a wonderful powerplant that just loves to perform. Good luck in your recovery.

welcome to the world. I am from SEMO myself. I live in Cali now so I get to ride year round. Poor me. In fact, I just got off my bike less than one hour ago. Where are you? I was born in Sikeston. Graduated from East Prairie.
