Sorry that didn't read correct. Cheaping out on not buying a nice set of JIS impacts is something I shouldn't have done. I've bought both my brothers and my dad Vessel screwdrivers the last two christmases since I don't want to show up at their house and them not have one. I only had standard phillips impact bits though. They're shit compared to the Vessel ones I just bought.

**Edit--even still I roll with the double negative. You get what i mean. JIS = good. Vessel = Good.

 

Ya. I am not too sure that I was clear either. I've never heard of Vessel. Will have to look that up.

When I am building things in my wood shop, I use pretty much strictly Robertson screws. If I buy something like hinges or the like, and they come with Phillips, those get tossed and replaced with Robertson. American square slot screws are a close second to Robertson but there is a difference.

Good thing you clarified the penny. I might have thought you were a penny pinching cheap sumbich Scotsman. I could never be one of those penny pinchers. We don't have pennies here any more and very happy about that. Can't wait until the nickel is gone too.

You ain't lyin', brother! When she first moved in......took me a while to realize I had another person sharing my service bay. Can't tell you how many times I caught her out of the corner of my eye and almost jumped out of my flip flops!
