    in the first post he stated his battery was dead, so why did it take so long to replace it ? no need for a long string of posts.

    He said he tried a jumper pack. The additional posts were to clean up some misinformation and keep him from looking for non issues. He was told to jump from a known good car battery very early to confirm a battery issue.
