They're so good looking! Nice work.

I got my spare track bike's refreshed Ohlins back today, in plenty of time for the next season. It is unlikely to self-install, no matter how long I leave it out there next to the bike.

What a PITA! Had to drill each lower sealing bolt. Is there any reason you can’t use a normal M8 bolt with sealing washer on the bottom? Seems like there is clearance. image.jpg image.jpg

As long as the axle clears no reason you can't.

Got them balanced this morning and I installed them. Came out very nice, the Continentals ride real good.

Thanks. I think they are the perfect size for this rig. Little bigger for a slightly more modern look, but still have some good sidewall for Forest Service roads and the like.

Recently got new rubber for both the Volvo and Silverado - no wheel changes though. Nice positive impact on ride!

At the tire place waiting for the Volvo, I commented about how young their tire jockeys were. One of the sales guys heard me and responded "It's a young man's game!" :)

Yeah, it saves money to do your own tires, but it wears the F outta me sometimes.

Squeezed in a ride on the NSR today. I always forget how much joy that bike brings me. :) I seem to always stop here to find a gap in traffic since It is undulating and curvy. This gives me vantage in both directions. Then I can tear it up on the way home with warm tires and a nice mile or two of gap to make up.

Tuning up the 1983 Civic 1500 today....y'all ever worked on a 3 bbl Keihin CVCC car before? I have done several of them and the only thing I have seen that is more complicated was a 1st gen RX-7.

I am looking for several of the vacuum diaphragms that are NLA from Honda. Some of them look like they may fit a motorcycle, anyone have a source for diaphragms?

Check out the vacuum routing chart. I had to go through every one of them to make the carb work and idle correctly.
