Carbon fiber fender search

My ‘94 front fender paint is fading. While I’m considering having it repainted, is there a carbon fiber front fender out there which would fit?

 

I will keep my eye out, but my preliminary search did not come up with anything. I thought Tyga might have made one, but no.

Not sure if you have priced getting things painted red lately (or read about trying to match that red), but a solid gold fender with faux-carbon wrap might be cheaper than red.

The mounts for the RC36 are unique and the style does not make adapting other fenders easy.

 

There is a German co the makes one. The name escapes me right now. I'll see if I can find my note.

 

what about a wrap? That is paint, in my experience the pe0ple that paint motorcyle body work are a special breed.

Re special breed of painters for bikes. My bike has been painted twice now. Both at the same place. The second time he did not want to do it again. There was no issues between him and I from the first time it was painted. They did a great job. But he told me they do not like painting bikes and the only reason he was painting it was that I was a return customer. I think he had his most junior new person paint it the second time and that showed. I have to get the tank repainted and if I can find a replacement upper front cowl, That will need painting too. SO I will be searching for a new painter. I did have graphics on my bike which did darken and lose its luster after 10 or so years though. Wish me luck.
