Mint Yellow VFR800 with just over 8000 km's. I am the second owner of this bike and just don't have time to ride it anymore and would prefer someone that can enjoy it. New Yuasa Battery installed this spring with about 800 kms on it. New tires last year with around 1800 kms on them. I replaced the rubber grommets for the tanks bolts this summer and the balance of the bike doesn't need anything.

I am location in London Ontario and I am asking $7000.00. If you want any specific photos please email me at sdjmclaren@icloud.com.

After reviewing this I should have stipulated that the pricing was in CAD which would be $5000.00 USD.

Nice to think that my Y2K version might be worth something near that... It does have 12K miles on it though.

GLWS, I am a major fan of the Yellow VFR. :)

I had a 2000 yellow VFR. Was yellow only available in Canada in 1999? In the US, the yellow was a 2000 model. Superb bikes.

In Canada the 1999 VFR800 was available in Pearl Yellow and Red, I might add that as far as I know 1999 was the only year for a Yellow VFR period.

We were in Australia in 2000 for my wife's work. I had a free day in Sydney, and I chose to visit a bike rental place instead of a boat shop to sail the Harbour. The proprietor directed me to a row of Harleys, since I was from "The States." Nah. I stopped in front of a nearly new Y2K VFR, and told him that this one is my preference. 25 minutes later, I was off. Visited 2 national parks that day, put on a couple of hundred miles. Took it back the next morning after a sunrise ride, and told myself that one day I would own one just like it!
Took 15 years, was worth the wait.
Found it in Minnesota, "only ridden in nice weather."
Not going to sell it unless I just can't ride anymore.
    Might be a while!
Good luck with the sale. 8000 KM's is only 5000 miles?
I don't need a second VFR, and the heir to mine is saving up for a house, LOL

Great story. I hadn't ridden one before I bought this one. Went to look at it and was astonished how clean it was with such low KM's. At this point I am just going to keep it as I got rid of my car and we now share one Civic coupe. When I was in my early 20's I was going to crate up my 1992 CBR600 F2 and take it to Australia as my uncle and cousins live there. Met my future wife just after that and never did make it there.
