    Well, I sold 7 and bought 1.

First real ride almost ended badly, I hit a white tail deer (150-200lb doe), I was doing 100km/h (60mph), saw it jump out of the ditch towards me, 4 or 5 car length in front, I slowed the bike as much as I could, moved to the left of the lane away from the deer. Deer was zig Zagging all over the place (like the do) and made a last second jump in my direction and bam!

I got away with it by the grace of god, zero damage to me or the bike, the deers head hit my left mirror, folded/swung the mirror back (as designed) and then the deer's head hit me square on the left shoulder and chest. No idea how I got the bike slowed enough to have zero damage to me or the bike.

odd thing was how time seemed to slow down, like slow motion, I saw every hair on the deers head as it hit my mirror. Before it hit me, I even had time to process the thought "well Ive heard of guys being taken off bike by a wild turkey, WTF is gonna happen when a 200lb deer hits me?"

It felt like I got kicked in the chest and shoulder but thats about it

bike didn't move, I stayed on , my arm never left the handle bar, no bruises....nothing.

I wasn't even shaken, no increased heart rate...I have no explanation for it...none

Yep, not a mark on me , not a mark on the bike.

Hard to explain how I got away with that, a 200lb doe hits you in the shoulder and chest and you'd think you'd have a few bruises and a sore shoulder the next day...but Nope, nothin.

    im thankful.

I do wear full leather jacket and pants with CE certified armour and I wear a body armour vest under the jacket (EVERY TIME I RIDE), so that helps alot !

Glad to hear you're alright stray. Good thing you hit it with that tank and not one of the smaller bikes.

Damn Stray, close call. Glad you made it. We have a lot of hit dear on my canyon highway, so I try and be ready, but I don't think you ever can be besides having the right gear on and a bunch of luck.
7 bikes is crazy. I am gearing up to sell the Tuono. I almost pulled the trigger, but then I wavered. But after getting on the highway and wanting to rev it out, I was in triple digits... that bike needs to go.
Big Red was on the chopping block, but she has been saved for now. :)
