    Hey all,

New to the forum, and riding. Just got my M1 about 2 months ago, and bought my first bike a month ago, a 2002 VFR800. I've put about 1200 miles already, and I absolutely love the bike. Looking forward to meeting everyone here, and contributing where I can.

Hi Tarik and Welcome to the Madhouse:Welcome:

Kudos for adding a photo of your VFR with your first post and extra for choosing a red one - which are always the fastest :potstirrer1:

There are a lot of VFRWorld members along the West Coast so if you find you need help with the VFR you may find someone nearby willing to offer advice or even pick up a wrench. The 800 models are pretty reliable except for the charging system so you may want to consider fitting a cheap digital volt meter to keep keep an eye on the system - it won't prevent a failure but if you see the volts drop or rise alarmingly it will give you a bit of time to head for some place safe before the battery is drained - rather than ending up stranded at the side of the road.

Have fun with the VFR and remember ATGATT
