Thanks, Joe....nice write-up! $75 does seem like a bargain for those needing a replacement!

Costs have a way of adding up quickly on these restorations...not to mention the hours of labor!

    Happy Sunday! :)

Performance absolutely fine, I've taken it on trackdays twice since and while they weren't the hotest of days still ran perfectly. I've had mine on two years now.

My wife said we can't count the restoration hours. It is illegal and disheartening. :)

Slightly off topic, but any suggestions sourcing silicon radiator hoses for the Gen2 ?
I remember a mention in an old blog post.

    as3 performance in the UK

They sell them in black, red, and blue...plus the proper clamps.

This link is for the black ones, which are currently out of stock:

    https://www.as3performance.com/prod...ator-hoses-black?_pos=18&_sid=af4527365&_ss=r

So you can submit a notification request when they are back in stock, or purchase the set in red or blue straight away, which are in stock.

I bought mine in black, but had to wait a week or so for them to be back in stock again. Plus I got the clamps:

    ^^^^ What Baz said.
A couple of years ago I provided AS3 some original hoses as patterns in order to begin producing the Gen 2 hose sets, and as an incentive, I purchased the first ten sets. I still have a few (black, with clamp set) left which I would be happy to sell at my cost plus shipping. Just PM me or, better yet, through the website.

I didn't realize Joe (V4 Dreams) had these - so there you go.

Joe is the person I found out about them from, BTW, from one of his shop blog posts on his fantastic website: https://v4dreams.com/index.html

Good luck & keep us posted! :)
