Damn purty bike... my first ride on a true VFR was on that exact bike... a demo sponsored by Honda in Marysville Ohio.
The thing blew me away... Wow, what is this all about!

    Sold for $6,500.
Always surprised that VFR's are not getting the big money..... yet? When Honda mini trail 70's are a lock at 4K+. Thinking that will change in a few years?
I would have paid an easy $6,500 + for this if I didnt already have one.

    Wow that's fantastic!

Went from $3,250 to $6,500 in 18 minutes!

I hope I get that kind of result when I list mine there - one day - if at all. :)

Makes me glad i already have one in my garage. And a red 90 waiting to be refreshed. This generation is getting rare. It went for way more than i thought. For a 31 year old bike

It went that high for one reason and one reason only.

It was listed on an auction site and a couple different bidders let their emotions get the better of them.

That bike would never reach that sales price on FB/MP or CL. Even eBay allows someone to come in and snipe at the last second. You can't do that on B.a.T.

I bet the person with the winning bid is kicking himself right now because he lets his heart overrule his brain.

One last comment.......the bikes we own are COLLECTOR bikes. And as such there will always be a healthy market and enthusiastic buyers for them.

You just have to make sure when you list one, it is in really nice condition and then just be prepared to wait for the right buyer to come along.

    Just my 2 cents.....YMMV......
