Rev limiters on what gen VFR's ?

    I know all new bikes have em,but back in the day you could blow up or bend valves with a missed shift.
    I'm guessing my gen 6 has it. Not sure about my gen 3 or 4?
    Not that I would do anything to hurt my babies, just wondering.

    rev limiter wont stop damage from over-rev on a bad downshift

    Never heard of any rev limiters on any 750s, 800s, mbe some on 1200s.
