That was a great turnout for the ride considering the weather.

Curiousity got the best of me and I looked up the circumstances of this young man's death. It seems pretty clear that he made a serious error in judgement and paid the ultimate price, let's all take that to heart and try to not have to have anymore memorial rides. Ride Safe.

My condolences to all his family and friends.

Yes he did, very sad. trick for me was keeping my mouth shut. as some on the forum where going poor Mike, drove me to wanting to say something as it was all his doings, yes it's awful, But? Like you, it was pretty obvious what / how it came together. I'm hoping others here saw that and figured the same thing, pretty hard point to get across to some of these fear no evil kids.

    Rob (right?),

Glad you could make it up there for the ride, I have both my bikes down for the winter to paint them, so I did not make it.

I posted a thread on the PNW site asking the young guns to learn from this poor guys mistakes and got flamed by some.

Hope everyone has a great holiday season and you get some great gifts for your Viffers.

I wish I could have made this ride but I still had relatives from California for the weekend, So how did it feel to ride in 40 degree weather, looks like you was prepared for the elements based on your attire

OMG Yea well that look says it all doesn't it?

heymike, I know what you mean, some kids just can't seem to see the big picture as we live on the line as it is, don't need to ask for it. his real name was Mike.

RW yea, tried out something new to me, rain gear over the leather, the idea was to stop the cold air from coming in, which it did fairly well, didn't expect to have to use it's other properties, which brings up a new thread question thanks ;)
