Front and rear wheels from a 2001 Honda VFR800.

A previous owner had these wheels chrome plated. They did not mask off the front brake rotor hub before applying the chrome. For this reason your brake rotors will most likely need to be modified to work with these wheels. Due to the chrome plating the hub us about 0.015" larger in diameter than they should be.

Correct brake rotor hub dimeter = 2.435"

Chrome plated brake rotor hub diameter = 2.450"

What did the previoius owner do to get the rotors to fit correctly ?.
Having just gone thru a large bling it project of wheels, calipers, forks, brake plates and a lot others,
I an attest that the reassemble was a PIA! I had to hand fit most pieces back together, plenty of hand sanding to sneak it to fit.

The previous owner used the rotor bolts to force the rotors onto the hub. When I tried to remove the rotors they were stuck onto the wheels and I had to use a hammer to get them off. So I guess that is one way you could get them to fit lol.
