Plugs were old and needed replacement bad, but my "air/fuel analysis" says that is pretty much perfect.

I've had friends who had them on their CB-1s and liked them. I didn't like mine on it! Probably better on the VFR.

Brief break in the weather and rode it yesterday. Runs and sounds great. I wasn't in many places to really romp, but it pulls really good. Def has a meaner sound, but you can short shift it into a mellower level no prob.

The shock is wonderful. A fresh, properly sprung Fox is a very good thing. So compliant on small stuff, yet still firm and controlled. Just a pleasure, can't wait to get into the valley.

Was gonna head down to Saltwater Park for a view of Puget Sound and maybe snap a pic or two, but on the way the clouds that were supposed to be more than hour away looked very looming. Oh well, spun around for back home with them behind me. About half mile from home I saw some cherry blossoms blowing across the road. "Oh, how pretty." Wait a minute... that's not cherry blossoms... it was snow. Got home with the streets still dry. Sitting here watching it snow again this morning. Nothing is sticking, but it's pretty.

But now it's cold and wet. More rides are not in the near future. Time to work on the new Hawk some more in a warm shop. Oh yeah, and gotta smoke about 40 pounds of chicken thighs and breasts that have been brining for a week.

Just an absolute pleasure to ride. Got to wick it up a bit more now that it wasn't snowing.
