I know , not a VFR, but I have to say the engine on these FZ's are killer. The VFR, in my opinion, has a stronger engine but the FZ's are a very nice ride. Price is very reasonable....

I love how they look. I rode one after I refurbed it a few years back...and hated it. I think you'd have to love that "old school" feeling.

 

I had the same feel on the VF1000. Just not my jam. But neither is the vfr400 in some ways. I have basically discovered that I prefer 90-100 hp bikes. Anything past 120hp is a waste on me and anything less than 85-90 is not as much fun, except for the NSR.
I am sure others will pop up with "what about this bike" exceptions, but I am getting picky about the bikes i can and want to keep.

 

I expected a mini FJ1200...but it was not even close.

 

Cool old bike. I liked the looks of the earlier ones better. Always wanted one.

 

Mine was slightly earlier, and it was a great winter project.

 

Still have mine … actually riding it to the Rock Store on Sunday.
