I got the paperwork done today to transfer the title and got her registered for 2 years with the standard Antique plate.

Was a little concerned because the seller accidentally signed in the "buyer" section. I drew a line through his name and wrote mine in there and filled out the rest and it wasn't a big deal, thankfully - just had to sign an affidavit about the mistake on the title. I guess this happens a lot so they have a mechanism in place to handle it without too much hassle. My tag office here is fantastic. I'm pretty much on a first name basis with everyone..lol...

I did some polishing and cleaning but without water and then did a photo shoot. Had a chance to take off the side fairings and seat and for the most part this is a clean bike!

I also took her out for a few miles and she really ran great! Very fast too! The gear shifting was also super smooth and with the new tires the ride was smooth as well.

Couple new pics and also a closeup of what's inside the fuel tank......

Jim - I had a bad case of couldn't sleep last night so got up around 3am and started reading your amazing thread. Got through the 1st 10 pages and plan to continue until finished. Man....it was like reading a detective novel! I don't know how it ends (and please don't tell me!) but have to give you major props for what I've seen so far.

And FWIW, I never thought I'd own one of these but the planets kind of aligned - it happens sometimes.....

So fun to ride those sweet running gems. Glad you found a good one. Exhaust note is pretty cool too.
