    Hello!

I am incredibly new to motorcycles and I am having trouble finding any help on how to remove the spark plugs on my 1984 Honda vf500c. There are a couple of posts on this forum about it, but they just say "do this" but don't actually say anything else. From what I see online people say to remove the lower radiator and one of the hoses', but I am confused on how to do that and the manual is pretty much useless with it just saying "remove radiator" and not really identifying what to actually remove. I did see someone online do it by taking off the seat, gas tank, and carburetors, but I am kind of hesitant to do all of that if there is a much simpler way.

Otherwise, I have all the tools to do the job, but don't actually know where to start.

    Thanks!

Acquire and the manual. Internet voting isn't how you want to do...anything.

You can also start by just observing how each part is held together and figure out the best way to remove items that doesn't spill everywhere or break anything.

If you decide to remove the rad., drain the system first.

The spark plug wrench that came in the original tool kit can do the job without removing anything.

Sometimes you can remove the bolts that hold the bottom of the radiator in place and let it move away from the front cylinder head a bit to gain a little more access. Even then, the tool kit wrench still works best.

If you are going to use traditional plug socket on an extension... remove the radiator and the fuel tank.
