    Greetings folks,

I've orderd a set of helibars for my VFR. Im wondering what tools are required for the job?
I have all the basic sockets, wrenches etc. and am comfortable with most automotive tasks including oil changes, wiring etc.

    thanks in advance

Hmm - first thing to check is do you have the extra height screen fitted? If so you might like to look at this video first

I fitted Helibars to my 2006 VFR800. By moving the bars up and slightly back towards me, it noticebly reduced pressure on my wrists, which was great. I managed OK with basic tools large open ended spanners etc the install was not easy and I found the supplied instructions were not brilliant. There are a few youtube videos which you might wish to review before you start - and then take your time.

    Good luck with the project.
