I was looking at replacing the drive chain on my '03 VFR. I was thinking about replacing the sprockets at the same time, but can't find the specs for the OEM teeth and front/rear ratio. Chapter 10 of the Service Manual details removal/replacement and torque specs, but no other info. Anybody know where to find that info? I was looking at this replacement O-ring chain + gear set (Front Sprocket 16 Teeth / Rear Sprocket 43 Teeth): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08THSWPJ1/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3QEAIM7YYCNN4&psc=1
You can search OEM specs on the Internet or go to DennisKirk and load your bike. It'll tell you everything OEM.
Chain - 530 110links. Front Sprocket - 16 tooth. Rear Sprocket - 43 tooth. Always fit high quality brand Chains and sprockets - Don't comprise quality with these items, just NOT worth it IMO. Do a Google search on Caltric Chains. They are shit! No wonder they are cheap as chips!
