Old bike in very good shape with low miles. Runs well. Choke cable needs replaced. Carburetor was rebuilt 3 years ago (new jets). Comes with Official service manual, 3 vintage cloth Honda saddle bags (2 don't have the mounting straps anymore) and Honda covers.

Low feedback on seller - only 5 transactions. He has not left any for others. A little odd but doesn't mean this is not legit. Just an observation.....

 

The red ones are faster but I like the blue as well. I think it's a good deal. Needs a weekend of TLC .

 

I've said this before.

A 1st or 2rd (or even 3rd) generation bike with all it fairings in good condition is worth $1K in value, right there.

Add in that it's in running condition.....maybe another $1-1.5K.

Given those metrics......we are already at $2-2.5K.

Then factor in if it's mostly (or all) OEM, mileage, and proximity to your location (saves transportation expenses).....another $1-1.5 in value.

So now we're at $3.5K easily.

If this bike was closer....I'd be ALL over it.........

 

Of course, this is an auction without a BIN option. The starting bid is $2.5K. Doesn't mean you can get it for that much. You are not in control at this point.

I predict she gets up to $3-3.5K.

In my years of sales management, I have learned that not everyone who buys and sells are good communicators.

I could tell you stories of scores I have made........that others would have balked at.

And, yes, sometimes you just gotta go look. Have had good scores that way too.

Still doesn't mean that's not a terrible listing.
