Owned one for 5 years… awesome engine, awesome chasis … most uncomfortable sport bike I have ever ridden.

Wish I still had it though…

They are beautiful and sound amazing, broke my wrists trying to commute around town. Canyon or track is where it belongs and nowhere else. They are lighted track bikes fo sho.

2nd most uncomfortable bike I've ridden (when not pushing it hard). And the harder / faster you ride it, the better it works and the more comfortable it gets. Not a good combo for keeping a license.

agreed, i had the same bike, bought unexectedly at a local repo auction. my arms are short so my chest was so tight against the tank that my ribs always hurt the next day. kinda heavy steering but very stable in turns. weak in lower revs.

    Love the ZX7's, I have a 1990 ZX7 H2, and I'm shopping for a 92-94 model now.

Re the Rc51's I had a beauty SP1 and an SP2, sold them both and wish I had not. My name is StrayCat and I'm a Dumb Ass..

Mine were horribly uncomfortable I found , but the looks of it were incredible. From a collectors point of view, I really should have kept them . I can say that about a few others too (2x VF1000R's, RGV250, RZ500)...I better stop or Ill cry myself to sleep tonight.

Not for much either. boo The market is dead unless the bike is mint or highly collectible.
