    I NEED A 5th GEN TANK BRA!!!
I had that bra on there for ever on
my 99. My Son’s stupid ass dog pulled off my full heavy cover and shredded it. POS went back and got the Bra, then shredded it…
Daughter-in-law came home, saw what the POS was doing, thankfully removed my Corbin.
So, if anyone has one they no longer want, I’ll buy it. Need it in Phoenix.
Happy New Year to all, Renzo

Cover in a clear wrap instead. The dirt that gets under bras destroys tanks.

Hey Bmart, A Big Aloha to ya.
Thanks for the tip. I had the bra on my yellow 5th Gen I leave in Arizona for many years with no damage to paint by removing when cleaning the bike.
Same for my 6th gen I keep in Hawaii.
I like your suggestion about a clear wrap of some kind. What is the clear material made of and do ya know if there is any that would shrink to fit nicely if lightly heated with a good hair dryer or heat gun? Thanks, Renzo

I used the 3M stuff available nearly everywhere online, and there are places that can do it for you. A lot of fluid and a heat gun.

I used to run bras when I lived in New England, but the road grit and salt can get inside and really do a number. Just like having sandpaper on there.

I have one.... I clear wrapped it to avoid damage.... I do like having the bra on it, makes it more worry free.
But agree, that clear wrap it is a good way to go...

Hi, I just sold my '02 VFR 6th Gen last year and bought a '00 5th Gen that happened to have a tank bra on it. I think I'm willing to part with it, but note that one of the elastic bands is broken on it. I think I'm going the route of tank grips and tank protector instead. Here's a pic of my bike with it on.

Let me know if you're interested and if so, we can discuss price and shipping.

    Michael
