Ugh... Sorry to hear about that. I got taken for a couple hundred a while back from a similar scam. I would have bought more of the supposedly available parts if I didn't recognize the picture they sent me of the part from another thread on another forum.

Recommendation to all: If you don't know the seller, ask them to show you a photo of the part with a dated newspaper as part of the image. Or ask them for a video of the part with their voice saying your user name. Basically, anything that forces the seller to prove they're not just copying illegitimate pictures and pretending that it belongs to them.

Haha! yup, they tried getting me to send funds too.
They wouldn't provide me with a pic of the current date and the item I was looking for, so I just blocked further emails.

skeptical for any reason. They usually get to how you can send the money right away. I just got back to this guy a few minutes ago telling him to GFH.
