The Radian is/was such a great bike.

Looking at that photo I'm surprised it won't come out after the carbs. Fairly un-Yamaha-like.

Side note: Not the best pic to post. Fork seals anybody? Holding a wrong battery in with bungie cords and twine?

    Nah, that photo seems appropriate.
Shoot, I am embarrassed about my first build post. Sorry about the thread highjack Stray.

I take a lot of flack with some friends, but I rather liked the Radian for a regular bike.

Just cuz I'm a sport bike guy, I know when to appreciate a solid standard motorcycle. Ridden quite a few and they were very capable. Great engine, good chassis and pretty darn good looking. The Honda Nighthawk of Yamahas. I'm still working on a friend to sell me his 86 CB700SC that has been sitting in his garage for close to 20 years.

Admittedly, I never much liked the Nighthawk, but did like the Radian and Fazer, visually.

Admittedly, it is a dumb idea, but I may go test drive the new Royal Enfields. Completely new Himalayan and Scram coming. Liquid cooled.

i bought a non-running seven-hundred fazer at an auction, didnt need much work, rode it occasionally for three years then put it on consignmernt at local yammie dealer and sold it for a modest profit. nice looking bike, very comfortable, amazing engine but suspension wasnt up to handling the power.

Solid bike and it had the Genesis 700 engine. Hell yeah. Lot of V-Max cross-over influence there.

I have ridden a couple... good vibes for sure. Would sure like to do a RestoMod 86 with 87 fairings and some YZF wheels and forks.

I finally finished my CBX750 last week, had the engine back out for starter chain, starter chain tensioner and cam chain etc etc... of course you have to split the cases for all that.

same engine as the 750 night hawk

So cool. My buddy had one for a short while, I don't even remember what happened to it or why I didn't get a chance on it.

    Great job stray, as usual.
