He escaped serious PHYSICAL injury. The emotional toll was heavy, and I can still sense it today every time he tells that story. :Yo::p

Nice, I have one the same paint and wheel colour I am rebuilding here in Oz.

I notice you have the rubber that sits between the too fairing and the frame. Any chance you can take a photo of the profile and post it so I can try and match it please?

Went to tag office today. Bunch of red tape to get a title but working on it.

Two women there including the manager: "I wouldn't have even bought it without a title."

Right....where's the fun in that? :D

If you were here in Kaliforniakov they would have asked you , rudely, to step outside so you can get shot by the DMV firing squad .
They will also bill your family for the bullets.

I was told it used to be much easier but was changed a few months back because of all the theft going on.

So as usual....those of us who play by the rules are penalized because of the scumbags out there....

Trying to do the legit thing. But push come to shove......I can still take the bike out for rides. May not be legal but it's not like I bought a pig in a poke or something....:)

I was just thinking......I have duplicates of both bikes I'm trying to register and titles for.

Hopefully things will work out but........

But what's to keep me from swapping plates from one bike to the other?

The VF750F's have close enough paint schemes.

Be a little tougher for the VFR700's.....one is White and the others are (2) Blue and (1) Yellow. Wonder if a cop would notice something like that on the registration...the paint color. I could always say it's been re-painted...

Does your state have a Bonded Title process?

It's not fun, but better than getting cited for fictitious plates, no insurance or current registration ,etc . BTDT

The VIN on the frame should really be the only thing that Needs to match paperwork.

I have the paperwork in hand and just waiting to get what's needed from the seller and for a VIN verification for LE.

I agree I wouldn't risk any legal entanglements - unless it's a very last resort. I'm no where near that yet.....

My new MotoBatt just arrived so going to install that right now. It came with no battery.....
