    My carbs are VD41A's (30mm)
Engine no. PC12E – 2113867 (line bored heads)
    I believe its a 1985 model

I need to buy 4 new carb rubbers. The existing rubbers have no identifiers on them. I can find 2 part no.s 16211MF2710 (superceded by 16211MF2711) listed for 1985 models and
16211MJ8000 listed for 1984 model. Both appear to be accomodating the VD41A carbs.

Are they interchangeable? I can source 16211MJ8000, but the 16211MF2711 are scarcer.

In the U.S. 84/85 had the bigger carbs (32mm) and NON line-bored heads. 86 got smaller carbs (30mm), lined bored.

    85: 16211-MJ8-000

    86: 18211-MF2-711

Not interchangeable. 86 style are scarcer (and more expensive), your are correct on that one.

Thanks. I got a parts manual from a guy in New Zealand that was supposed cover '84-'88 which is full of confusing info on the carbs. I suspect its probably a version covering only '84-'85. Thanks again Captain.
