Hello everyone, new member here, just bought a '99 VFR800 with 36k miles. My three other bikes are '70's vintage, so the experience of this bike is a real departure, to say the least. Rode for an hour and a half today, and am just in love. Haven't done anything but an oil change (and checking vitals) so far, but doing lots of reading. Luckily the stator/reg-rec/ and battery were done before I bought her with Rick's Motorsports components, so that's out of the way. She rides beautifully, with maybe a bit of steering head play to address. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions as I get deeper into it.

    Cheers,

    Mike

GREAT choice! Congrats and enjoy. Also, a pic in your first post... you don't get a second chance. Good job.
