After some tests with my Coils / Leads , i realized that I can't get measurements , so I decided to buy and replace the wires. Even with that the problem persists. So I checked the covers and voila , it's green ...

After some contact cleaner and some long wire to scrap inside , it's back to business.

That's why I was getting weak spark and misfires. IMG_20230914_132003.jpg IMG_20230914_132006.jpg

Unfortunately I need to back to start with the HT wires , after several attempts with silicone wires , they simply don't get to the end of the spark cover because they are too soft , even with some grease they just don't get to the end so I can get a solid connection. Already bought classic PVC 7mm wire to get this done.

Oh yes. It was the first thing I have noticed, they perfectly cover the hub and bearing hole.

Classic wire is what they like. I rebuilt a bunch with some bulk 7mm NGK I bought a long time ago. The compression fittings on the coil side sometimes like a slight smear of black silicone to ensure a good seal.

I'm still considering getting the ugly white wheels done properly. Cost for paint/powder seems about the same. Any input is welcome.

Today was the time to prevent the infamous Stator/ Rectifier problem. IMG_20230917_112642.jpg IMG_20230917_121938.jpg IMG_20230917_122130.jpg IMG_20230917_123855.jpg IMG_20230917_123207.jpg

If going PC route, make SURE those MFers understand what is crucial to be masked. An apology and shrugged shoulders, and even a discount, don't go far when you are trying to remove it in critical areas.

It's why I paint everything now.

Nice! Future reference if it's ever needed... the 2000-01 VFR mirrors are that style and bolt right on. Have them on my 1995.

Yes , mine come with those , but they're too long for my taste. Entering my garage with my car inside it's a Herculean job lol.

    Hi guys need some help.

    Already Installed everything (
    Fairing isn't ready yet) .

Put some funnel with gas , center stand , battery charged , no tank , vent tubes opened ( because I don't have the tank) , put the side stand opened , and tried to fire it , but something is wrong. When I hit the starter the engine don't crank , but it makes a loud noise like something stuck.

    What I'm I missing here?

    ****EDIT :

It was the starter motor stuck. Give it some love hammer and it started to work again.
