So today I had the new chain(DID VX3 gold) and front and rear sprockets ( OEM) fitted. Recently put new Michelin Road 6’s front and rear, cleaned brake calipers and discs and fresh oil and filter, and a wash and wax. Just need to check the spark plugs and air filter then she’s all done.
I also took a Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro for a test ride, have to say I was very impressed, I’m thinking

Only 42,500km, since I purchased the America and the KLR she doesn’t get ridden quite as often. I’m about to head off on a motorcycle trip to Brisbane, still haven’t decided which bike to take.
It was also time to refresh my helmet. Extremely happy with the Shoei neotec 2. Seems a very comfortable helmet, haven’t had the opportunity to wear it on the bike yet, hopefully today. The Sena system seems excellent sound wise, however the phone app is no where near as intuitive as the Cardo app (I have a Freecom 4 on my other helmet)
Something that I didn’t realize until after I purchased it ☹️ is that if you are connecting via Bluetooth to a non Sena unit is that while you can connect to multiple other riders you can only talk to one at a time. While I think this is crazy (intersports can connect to multiple riders and they are a fraction of the cost) it is not a big issue for me as 90% of my riding is done with only one other rider at a time or with my wife as a pillion.
Looking forward to seeing how this helmet goes on my trip to Brisbane.
