Mmmmmm.... I'm a little skeptical. For the same reasons my catch tank has fuel in it. You could possibly cascade fuel down over you air box in the right conditions. Paranoid? Yes, usually. I just don't want to deal with something later I could have properly accounted for.

I would "T" off. Going up to a vent that can't spill, and down to a long tube that could be plugged if you wanted and checked for drainage, like the crankcase vent catch tank drain tubes on the older VFs.

Well, shit. You're golden. I would run to a vented catch tank personally. Pretty sure you can still find them. Or do the long tube like I just described.

Could I cap it off? Perhaps T it to the fill cap drain hose? That will be in place

If you have a 49 state cap, fucking plug/cap it. Nice thing about figuring out venting for the tank it future proofs you, cap replacement or failed (old) vent mechanism.

Ok so the venting on the 49 state cap must have a one way valve...because I way able to drain the tank by blowing into the Cal. tank vent port and create + pressure. Hows that for having too much time on my hands?:bruce2:
