Thanks mate. That was taken at the top of Boxhill on a gentle first evening ride, last week. Since then I had a run out over about 50 miles taking in Newlands Corner. Just a small issue to deal with, as I’ve overfilled the coolant reservoir so ended up with some extra coolant over me, but the bike ran really well on a hot day.

Got a ride down to the coast planned on Thursday.

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the Tapatalk app and using the web version on different devices and it’s still happening. Very frustrating.

I think it is site (vfrworld) related. I have written to admin about it but got no reply so I don't know if it is being addressed.
What I do is hit reply (as NorcalBoy mention) download the picture and make a reply where I attach the picture to the post.

The roads are appalling after 13 years of total neglect, there’s roads in Bakmut in better condition than the majority of the highways

Certainly gives my suspension a work out. The views can be quite pretty. Hopefully heading off to Worthing or Bognor for an ice cream, tomorrow.

My impressions are based on a motorcycle roundtrip in 1990. Back then ... and even on a Ducati :italy: (before upgrading to VFR) all was well.

That’s about when road maintenance slowed down until it stopped

Oh snap, my Mum was from Ferring. I spent many a summer in Brighton. Used to go to Arundel and Goodwood. My Mum actually talked the track management into letting us take the rental on the track for lap and I met Derrick Bell at the track on his NSR500 street bike. :) I was 12.

And good to see it up and running! Might want to set up a fan switch. I don't think I trust the old sensors much.

Newcastle, Lake District, Pennines, Yorkshire, York, Peak District, Warwick (Coventry), Bristol, Land's End and then along the south coast to Dover, spending the last night in Canterbury. Near Manchester I had the luck that the clutch cable broke. After browsing through the yellow pages in a phone booth I found a MC shop and this is the luck part. The dealer as it happened was Steve Wynne's Sports Motorcycles which had Ducati dealership and was the builder of the legendary bike on which Mike Hailwood made his comeback in '78. Being in that shop was Ducati heaven. Nice trip - the best I ever had. Completely improvised while going and with fantastic weather all three weeks, fantastic scenic roads and many nice people.
Driving left side wasn't too difficult after a few days. The peculiar thing is that when I call up some of the parts of the trip from deep memory they seem to be memorised as driving the right (i.e. right hand) side. The mind has its ways ...

PS. I forgot to mention Roadhead, I also went to Roadhead.

That’s mad! We got lost in Ferring and it took us 10 minutes to find our way out, along the coast.

Quick pic taken on the seafront with my mate’s 916.

Interesting about the fan switch. The one issue I have been having is coolant leaking from the top of the rad. I’d overfilled the coolant tank as it’s so difficult to see the fluid level and I need to drain some more out, which I’m hoping will cure this. I’ve had coolant all down the side of the bike. It’s been running at a normal temperature throughout.

I went to The Ace Cafe, last Sunday as there was a Honda Owners Club meet there. Saw one other RC24 which was in mint condition but couldn’t get a picture before it left. Managed to get a decent picture of mine in front of the iconic building.

I’ve got a new radiator on order as mine is still leaking where the cap locates where the rim on the radiator itself, is broken.

For a run down, greasy transport cafe the Ace has done well for itself
