    It's being sold on ebay and he's not sure of the year, part number he shows from the inside panel
    mine is 86 vfrFII trying to see if it's the same cowl, thanks dave

    ML7 is the original product code for the 1986 VFR. Are you inquiring about the solo seat cowl or the cowl that holds the taillight?

    I think that has been resprayed (Shasta White) for the 1986 VFR R/W/B colors. It would explain the masking marks on the inside and the different part #. The configuration is correct for 1986 though and it looks nice.

    I own a 1986 FII and F models.
