Looks great. I see there are some other mods which look good. I had the same mirrors on my 91 CBR600F2 and they drove me crazy but these seem to be ok.

The mirrors for the 00-01 VFR800 are a direct bolt on, and I had some Emgo pattern ones on my last VFR.

This bike came fitted with the Sargent seat, ZG double bubble screen, a lovely Nitron shock and some Racetech bits in the forks. I have added some touring bars, the clear indicator lenses, LED headlight bulbs, heated grips, a voltmeter/USB port, Quadlock phone mount and the Delkevic muffler. I actually prefer the bike with the stock muffler as I think it pulls better down low, the carbon fibre looks lovely. I also added the rebound damping adjusters from a VTR1000F as I had those to hand.

I love the sound of them with pipes but I know they get very loud and I like the stealthy approach. lol I plan on leaving it stock for a while. I work at a distributor and have access to some product but I know some products are hard to come by due to the age.

As I get older I do enjoy a mellow tone as opposed to a loud exhaust. The Delkevic is not excessive but I do enjoy the stock exhaust more.

Stock sound is good, Delkevic sounds good too (the longer one)..... I would hesitate to use anything else. TwoBrothers is excessively loud
    IMHO.

My short Delkevic isn't loud by any stretch, is much lighter and (IMHO) looks da bomb.

Looks great and sounds very nice. I got excited at work when I typed in VFR800 and an exhaust came up which we had inventory. Took a second look and it wasn't for our gen. Boooo

Interesting that in Canada :Canada: your bike is a '99.
In the "States" the yellow was a single year, 2000.
I'm partial to these... First rode one in Australia on a one-day rental, it was essentially new with only a few hundred KM's.

Had to have one after that!

I do find it odd that Honda Canada would do things differently than the US considering we are 10% of your population. Regardless I am loving it and glad I was fortunate enough to find one. If only I bought a 1992 CBR900RR as well.

What's the spacing between the mounting bolts? I have Yamaha mirrors on my Superhawk & they move them out far enough to miss my elbows?
