Are you sure the wiring is missing? It would be odd that someone would purposely cut it out.

Not completely sure yet. The wire harness is a mess, so I'm still searching for it, but so far, no dice.

If I remember correctly, it is not a long lead off of the main harness and will be above-ish where the fuel pump sits, the fuel pump wire is long to go to it. Female, 2 wire plug. The fuel cut relay lead is longer with a Male, 3 wire plug. Don't they also have one separate yellow wire that goes to the Relay?

    Again, just going from memory.

Fuel pumps and relays on 80s and 90s bikes always seem to be the most confusing aspect for people. The things people do to fix something that isn't broken, simply because they haven't bothered to look, read or ask is baffling. There's quite a few of these scenarios lately, and I will almost guarantee the fuel system was working exactly the way it should when it was dirty carbs (it's always dirty carbs!!!) that wouldn't let the bike start or run in the first place.

"Put down the wire cutters and electrical tape, and step away from the vehicle!"
