Wow, no postings since 2020 in the PNW...I just recently got hold of a VF500F and a VF700F for not very much (much less if my wife asks, of course). The 500 is running and rides well, but needs work. The 700...not so much. It was neglected more and needs some serious help.
If you're around the Bellevue area and like to talk Hondas (or any old bikes) let me know. I'm always glad to meet people with the same illness!

I guess I'm guilty of neglecting this section myself.. I'm over in Kitsap County. Have been a long time on/off VFR owner, with a 2000 800 right now, and a lead on possibly getting a '91 750 soon.
I don't get to your side of the sound often, but welcome aboard!

I work at a dealership. One of our semi-regular customers stopped in recently and asked if we knew anyone who might be interested in buying it.
I've only seen it once, when he rode it in one day last year (if it's the same one I'm thinking of, but I'm not positive it is), so I still need a fresh look at it. He didn't have any photos on him and we didn't discuss price or anything, so it's all VERY preliminary.
I keep telling myself I won't buy carbed bikes anymore, but there are so many cool bikes from the 80s/90s/early 2000s that I still love. Ugh.

Awesome. 90 - 97 carb VFRs are pretty fucking cool.

much more rugged-looking and solid, easier to work on than earlier versions, although i'm no fan of the revised mixture screw. :(

It would be a nice trip over to Bremerton to the classic car show at the airport. I'll ping you if I ever make it over that way later in the Spring or Summer....I was in Orlando all last week and out of habit looked at CL-Orlando. There was a 90's VFR for sale for $3k-ish. Looked nice, but I'm not allowed to buy anymore bikes, especially while on vacation with my wife....

    Yeah, please do!
I'm not sure of the car show schedule. I work on Saturdays 'til 5 but am free on Sundays.
I've always got good reason to visit the Bremerton airport... my dad has an office there and takes tourists on scenic flights in antique biplanes. I'm sure he'd be there during any sort of event, so I can drop in to see him as well :)
